Set aside a ‘giving fund’ – a fixed amount each month for random acts of kindness to positively impact others. It could be $10, $50, $100 – whatever you deem appropriate. Buy a coffee for a friend, send a small gift, buy a stranger’s lunch – go ahead be creative. You’ll be amazed at the results.

Dominate Your Email
Your goal should be to empty your inbox nightly (zero inbox). There are a number of methods out there to get this done and I have been giving many a trial. The one I’ve found to work the best is to have just three simple folders (immediately delete any emails that do not fit these categories).
- Archive (for later reference)
- To-do (if it takes longer than 2 minutes and you cannot delegate)
- Wait (waiting on someone else (a response etc.)
No more giving away your precious time by putting your email in those 50 different folders, then spending 15 minutes looking for an email. Also, and probably most importantly, don’t check your email every five minutes.
